Kristi Shehan
Kristi Shehan is a native to Sonoma County and was born and raised in Cloverdale, CA. She has a comprehensive background in the Healthcare/Senior Care industry for the past 15 years. She holds her degree in Business, Accounting, and Health Sciences with an emphasis on Nursing. She is the owner/administrator of The Villas Assisted Living in Cloverdale, which has been open since 2009. Kristi is passionate about helping seniors and their families and spends much of her extra time volunteering for organizations that advocate for seniors, including Section on Aging, the local Health Action Chapter, and the local Senior Center. She is responsible for the implementation of many programs helping seniors in her own community and is locally known as the “go to” for resources for seniors.
Her career started in the East Bay Area working in Administration in an Outpatient Surgery Center. From there, she helped establish and run over ten multispecialty medical practices throughout the East Bay Area. With her experience she was able to consult on many new Outpatient Surgery Centers and has helped new physicians start their own medical practices. After her grandparents, whom she was very close with, were moved to several different care facilities, she decided to open her own facility in her childhood home to provide quality and comforting care. Unfortunately, her grandparents were unable to utilize the new facility as they passed away just before the opening; however, Kristi continued on and opened The Villas Assisted Living in 2009. The past ten years have given Kristi the opportunity to help many families navigate the transition of finding care options for their loved ones and has helped take care of many residents. She is truly excited to be part of the Placement Options Team offering local senior services to ensure the opportunity is there for those in need to find the care they deserve.
